PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML. We have built hundreds of sites using PHP and continue to recommend it to the majority of our clients. According to the Netcraft survey from 2007, over 25,000,000 websites are now using PHP.
